Each week we celebrate a few research projects that just got underway, from the funders’ public award records: what the team is setting out to do, who funds it and where the work happens. A deliberate mix of fields, regions and institutions, large and small.

Summaries are ours, written from each project’s public title and abstract and checked before they go up; the award record is the source. We feature the work and the institution, never individual researchers.
