Fellowships for researchers from outside Germany, in any discipline, to carry out a research project of their own choosing with an academic host at a German university or research institution: 6 to 24 months for postdocs (doctorate within the last four years), 6 to 18 months for experienced researchers (doctorate within the last twelve years).
